The weather was warm and the sun was out and it was not too difficult to see signs of Spring all around.
The lake is frozen no more, as you can see.
The fish weren't biting, but the green funk was sure plentiful!
Though the color green could be found here and there, the majority of the area was still sleepy and brown.
I did manage to find the opportunity to photograph a recent FO that has made it into rotation - it was not knit by me, but by one of my Thursday Night Knitting Ladies who had originally made it for one of her son's friends but it didn't fit quite right. She asked if I would want it for little man and I gave an immediate "yes!" - the pattern has been in my queue for ages now - and I will be trading her some yarn for it. Gotta love a good trade :D
I told him Vikings were fierce...
Before long it was time to get to work. Right up until the rain came...
The dreaded bunny-ear battle!
A bit more work on the latest project and it was off to see their cousins and hunt for some eggs.
Really? You want me to stand here for a photo when I could be looking for more eggs?
There are more photos on my Flickr page, but here are a few more random views from the weekend.

Great shots as usual! LOVE the one of little miss sitting on the ladder fishing. She may just be a country girl after all :) The shots of the two of them together are cute too!
Erica, you take the most beautiful pictures! Love the Viking hat and the bunnies are too adorable! Looks like the minions are definitely ready for Spring! Glad you had a great weekend.
I really love that the little frog survived the winter thanks to little man! Very cute story! And the bunny buddies? CUTE!!!
