Spring Break - Part 2 - St. Patricks's Day and a Day Trip

Another St. Paddy's Day has come and gone.  In all actuality we celebrate it all the time so there's not much different about the official St. Paddy's Day except for we make our annual trip to the cemetery to give some of our family members their annual shot of whiskey :)

It was rather cold and windy that day so we didn't hang around for too long; we'll go back and feed the ducks and things on a warmer day. I did notice this in the tree as we were leaving though. Someone has a chilly hand!

Then it was back home for an Irish meal and scones.  I love scones.  One of these days I will make a pretty batch of them but they taste fine just the same :)

On Friday the Dreams in Fiber household went on a little day jaunt up to Minnesota to get a little change of scenery and to do a bit of shopping... The Disney store was the big favorite of the day - the people that were working were a lot of fun! Plus, they had these mugs :)

I may have taken Luke Skywalker home with me...

The Lego Store is always a favorite. I could spend so much money there but we only walked home with a new alarm clock for little miss and a Star Wars Lego set for little man.

We ate and walked around and hit a few other stores here and there.  It was good to get away even if it was only for a day :)

I got a bunch of crocheting and knitting done during the drive as well but that will be in a different post as will the photos from our annual Spring Break trip to the Botanical Center :)

I think your scones are perfect. Delicious food doesn't need to be pretty.
You must have been in heaven at the Lego store. All that creative fun within reach.
