I was on the alert though for I have learned over the years that the Snow Minions also enjoy coming out to play during the first real snow of the Season. Sure enough, it wasn't long before I caught sight of one Snow Minion and then the other... They were industrious at first, "helping" to shovel.
They quickly lost interest in that though, there was fun to be had!
The Snow Minions have grown since this time last year; teeth seem to be coming and going... I was surprised to see how well the two Minions were working and playing together in the snow this afternoon. It appeared as though the elder Snow Minion was actually protective and docile, allowing the younger Minion to cover him in snow repeatedly.
He soon learned that it was in his best interest to protect his face from the onslaught of snow.
Not wanting to intrude on the events as they unfolded, I sat very still and decided to watch and see what happened. Turns out, the elder Minion was just biding his time. Evidently two can play at that game...
It was all in good fun. Neither Minion seemed to mind being covered in snow.
In fact, the only time the younger Minion seemed unhappy was when they discovered it wasn't packing snow.
I still have yet to understand what this particular display was all about...
The Snow Minions appear so innocent and carefree playing together in the snow. I warn you though, turn your back on them and you're bound to find yourself covered in snow. Do you trust these faces???
There are a few more photos of the elusive Snow Minions on my Flickr page.

Those snow minions are an unpredictable bunch. It's best to avoid eye contact as well as staying completely still and holding your breath. You handled your sighting with flawless expertise.
