This is May, Yes?

Today is indeed, May 3rd, 2013.  I'm confused.  Maybe Old Man Winter made it halfway to the Southern Hemisphere and realized he forgot his wallet or something and had to make the trek back.  These photos are from this morning before I shoveled.  Yes, shoveled.  In May..... 

Little man managed to have 1 game in nice weather so far this Season and that was on Monday.  A few days later, his next game was canceled, yet again, due to cold/wind.  At this rate, we'll be playing make-up games into July!

I asked him if he was going to get a big hit when he was up.  I got a resounding "Duh".  Goofball. 

He did get a hit and make it on base though...  :)

I also managed to take a photo of the Buckeye Tree(s) that we planted a few years ago.  They are stubborn little things and continue to come up each year.  In the hopes of saving them, we put a big pot over the tree area (there are several close together so we don't know if they will eventually fuse or if the strongest will smother the others - assuming they survive this snow) and that pot is now under snow so we'll see as things start to thaw.

That's about it for now.  I've been working on Camelot test knits and dyeing up skeins for that Club as well as the Sleepy Hollows prototypes.  One of these days I'll get a photo of little miss for you.  Tomorrow is the minions' school Walk-A-Thon.  Should be chilly but I'm planning on bringing my camera anyway.
