Beating the Heat Minion Style

It is hard to imagine what Summer feels like when you wake up mid-January to frigid temperatures, ice, and blowing snow.  There's this vague memory of colors and activity and sweltering heat but it's just not the same as waking up mid-July and stepping out the door to hot muggy days and birds chirping and bugs buzzing.

Here is how the minions prefer to beat the heat and enjoy their summer days.

Exercise does a body good.

A quick trip on the paddle boat means Mom can take pictures of her "boring flowers".  Some of them do look like they could be in a Dr. Seuss book though, which is sort of neat.

When evening falls, throw on some vintage shades and blow things up - well, watch others blow things up.

Nice fireworks shot! Those boring flowers do look Seussy :) I'm gonna need you to stop feeding your kids, they're getting too big.
