Inconceivable

I was on Ravelry this morning looking through my pattern page like I do periodically and saw this.

More than 2000 Hermione socks have been made!!! I cannot tell you how giddy this makes me :) Especially since I had second thoughts about posting this pattern initially because I thought "This is such a simple pattern, who is going to knit these?" Shows you what I know! Ravelry allows me the ability to check out the User Activity relating to my patterns and it is like Christmas all the time seeing the projects people are making from my patterns and I love it when Knitters use the patterns I have posted and tweak them to make them your own because that's all a pattern is really - a starting point. Thank you to everyone who has supported me in all of my fiber-y pursuits. It means a lot and I look forward to seeing new projects as they are posted!

i love, love, love your hermione socks! i've got two pairs, done toe-up magic loop (my favorite method), and they're my favorite! this is my go-to pattern for a solid, or multi-yarn.

thanks so much for sharing it with everyone! congrats on all the success, it's well deserved!

Erica, I love Hermione's Everyday Socks! Easy-to-remember pattern, comfortable to wear, and with a really nice texture. Thank you for putting the pattern up (and for making them free!)

I'm knitting them at the moment. My first socks! I really love the pattern, it's simple but also delicate. Thanks for sharing this pattern.

Not only are the Hermione socks quite excellent, the other free sock patts on your site are all great! I love the warm words you have for your attachment to the Weasleys and the HP books. I am planning many pairs of socks from your patts:: they're easy and inspiring. Cheers!
