September

September... it's quite a month really. School, Autumn, Harvest, and of course, Thomas visits the Scenic Railroad in Boone, IA.
We've gone a few times now and the kids really enjoy themselves. Here are a few photos from today in no particular order.
I can't get over how menacing these snow plows look! (And, it's rather hard to get a photo to come out while you're on a moving train. Just in case you didn't already know that!)

I do have a few knitting photos to share with you - most of what I've been working on is still under wraps. I seem to be hiding knitting photos quite a bit lately. These are a little pair of wee Mary Jane Shoes for a woman in my Thursday Night Knitting Group's new Granddaughter Princess P.
And a wee pair of socks to go with them. Lovely, soft, tiny, quick - knitting baby stuff is just so fun :)
And as promised,
The photo mosaic from the Fest. The following photos were all taken by my SIL K (except for the 2 she is in; I don't know who actually took those).
Just in case you wanted to see the actual Fest photos or more Thomas photos, just click on their links!

That's about all for right now, just a quick post!

Looks like a great day was had by all. Love the sepia and b/w ones of the kids. Great shot. The booties are too cute.

Ahh yes, Thomas the train! We missed it here in Maine this year -- it was back at the beginning of August and we were in Colorado. We went to the one in Boone last year and had a great time!

Aren't those plows impressive!?

Also -- the photo of your kids looking out the yellow window is amazing... I hope you enlarge that one and hang it up!
