It's Game Day Baby!
vs
Not the biggest game on television today, but in hubby's household it's huge: Hubby vs the father-in-law to see who has the bragging rights for the rest of the season. (Ordinarily they both go for MSU unless MSU is playing Notre Dame....) If asked, both will deny the importance of the game.... but I know better :) Hubby has already declared his spot before the television. The funny thing, I think, is that regardless of which team is losing, the one that is rooting for the losing team will turn the channel and watch something else because it is too painful for them. I know this because they both do it for MSU (on any other weekend), the Cubs, the Bears..., the hubby also does this if Tiger Woods is losing....
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. In the background the hubby is talking to the FIL - getting the preliminary call out of the way, discussing beer, trash talk.... ooh, kick off is about to begin.
I will leave you with a picture of little man.
He has already figured out the latest wall addition and has made motions to stand up to look over it. Time to rearrange the furniture! Maybe I can get some knitting on the MSU hat. We shall see.
