The weather was rainy and then hot but we spent some time outdoors just the same. I have the bug bits to prove it, yeah! :/
Due to the amount of rain they've had down there, the paddle boat was almost ready to sink so little man put on his boots and went to bail it out.
He quickly noticed that his boots were no longer waterproof thanks to some holes here and there.
Poor guy!
Looks like I'll have to give him my pair since our feet are now the same size. He is growing up too fast!
While little miss was inside, the boys played some monster golf and just because he wasn't wet enough already, little man had fun with the puddles as well.
Since everyone else was occupied, I went around and took some pics of my FO's and whatever else I could find.
It seemed like everything was wet at one point or another and there was lots of fungus to be found.
The nice thing about spacing out visits to the lake is that the little changes here and there are more noticeable.
I loved how the spider webs looked in the morning, covered in dew and rain drops. Webs were everywhere, it was crazy.
Yesterday little man found this moth outside of the school. It was pretty close to dead and we're not sure what happened to it but he had never held a moth that large before and thought it was cool. I hadn't either for that matter. Naturally, he said we had to take it home.
Somehow tomorrow is the start of school again. I knew during the start of June that I would blink and today would be here. I have a 4th Grader and a 3rd Grader now. Where does the time go?
